Virginia Mae “Sally” Seaton Bryant

Virginia BryantVirginia Mae “Sally” Seaton Bryant, age 90, formerly of Baring, Missouri, passed away July 20, 2015, in Plano Medical Center, Plano, Texas.  She was born May 30, 1925, in Fillmore County, Minnesota, the daughter of Elmer Lucius Seaton and Amanda Cecelia Gustafson Seaton.

Virginia lived most of her life in Northeast Missouri.  After graduation from Lemons High School in Lemons, Missouri, she worked as a nurse’s aide in Grim Smith Hospital in Kirksville, Missouri.

Virginia married Thomas Dudley Bryant of Baring on July 2, 1950, and he preceded her in death January 31, 1997.  She was a member of the Baring Community Church.

Virginia loved horses, especially paint and spotted horses.  She also loved her Yorkshire terrier dogs.  Virginia had her own dog business for many years raising and selling a variety of registered breeds.

Preceding her in death were her parents; infant son, Stevie Wayne Bryant; and two brothers, Lucius Arnold “Barney” Seaton and Elmer Junior “Doc” Seaton.

Surviving are two sons; Eddie Dean Bryant, Baring, Missouri, and Danny Thomas Bryant, Plano, Texas; one sister, Alva Pauline “Toe” Fulghum of San Angelo, Texas; one brother, Verne Adair “Gent” Seaton of Powersville, Missouri; three grandsons, Trever Bryant, Scott Bryant, Jonathan Bryant; three granddaughters, Dana Richardson, Jennifer Brummit and Theresa Lassetter; thirteen great grandchildren; one step great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services and interment will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15th at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery west of Greensburg, MO.
