LaBelle Father and Son Receive Minor Injuries In One Vehicle Accident

emergency lights  On Saturday, January 30, 2016, at 7:40 a.m., on Hwy 6, .5 miles east of Brashear in Adair County, 39 year old Jeremy L. Rayl and his one year old son, Darren C. Rayl, were involved in a one vehicle accident after swerving to avoid hitting a deer.

The westbound 2014 Chevrolet Impala was extensively damaged when it left the south side of the roadway and struck a MoDot sign and came to rest off of the roadway.  Both the driver and occupant suffered minor injuries and planned to seek their own medical attention following the accident.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Adair County Sheriff’s Department and the vehicle was to be towed from the scene at a later date. The vehicle was injured and both occupants were wearing safety devices.
