Vehicle Rollover Send Two to Hospital

According to a MSHP Crash Report, Sunday, February 7, 2016 at 3:00 p.m., on U.S. 61, three miles north of Canton, Missouri, 46 year-old Michael A. Masen of Chicago, Illinois, was driving a southbound 2003 Dodge Caravan that traveled off of the left side of the roadway and overturned.

Masen and a female passenger, 43 year-old, Lori Masen received minor injuries from the one vehicle accident.  Both, the driver and passenger were transported to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois, by the Lewis County Ambulance District.

The driver was wearing a safety device at the time of the accident.  The passenger was reported to not be wearing a safety device.  It is unknown at this time if the driver was insured.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department and Canton Fire and Rescue.
