Four Year-Old Quincy Girl Injured In ATV Accident In Lewis County

The Missouri State Highway Patrol released a report on Sunday, February 14, 2016, at 4:46 p.m., when a four year-old girl, of Quincy, Illinois, received moderate injuries after being injured in an ATV accident on private property, three miles north of West Quincy, in Lewis County, MO.
According to the report, a six year-old boy was driving a 1998 Honda Foreman ATV in a field and drove down into an embankment and the ATV overturned into a drainage ditch.
The four year-old girl was ejected from the ATV and the vehicle came to rest on top of her.
The girl was transported to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois by the Lewis County Ambulance.
The MSHP was assisted at the scene by the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department, the Lewis County Ambulance and the LaGrange Fire Department.
