Jury Finds Koenig Not Guilty of Sex Charges

It took a Clark County jury only 45 minutes to find Richard M. Koenig of Kahoka not guilty on three felony sex charges.
On October 9, 2013, Richard M. Koenig, of Kahoka, Missouri, was arrested on a three-count Clark County felony warrant for first degree statutory sodomy, first degree endangering the welfare of a child, and incest.
The jury trial began on Tuesday, February 16, when the jury was selected and seated. Following closing argument on Thursday afternoon, the jury retired at 1:50pm At 2:35pm, they returned not guilty verdicts on all three counts.
