Possession Of Drugs & Drug Paraphernalia Leads to Arrests

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 1:15 p.m., a thirty-two year-old female was arrested in Lewis County by a Troop B officer on a Lewis County warrant and possession of less than 35 years of marijuana.

Court records show that Kasey R. Murray of Quincy, Illinois, formerly of Carthage, Illinois, was charged on November 21, 2015, for operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license-1st offense. Court documents also reveal that on December 21, 2015, the defendant waived her right to council and made a guilty plea being sentenced with a misdemeanor SIS, costs, and a payment agreement was filed.

The hearing was continued to January 25, 2016.  Murray failed to appear to make payment as agreed to by January 29.  The hearing was then continued to February 5, 2016,  where a show cause was issued for failure to appear and a hearing was scheduled for February 22 at 9:00 a.m. in Lewis County.  On February 22, 2016, Murray once again failed to appear.  A $373.50 cash only bond was set at that time and a warrant was issued for Murray’s arrest.

Murray was taken to the Lewis County Jail and held under bondable conditions.

The charges for which Kasey R. Murray has been arrested are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt.

On March 22, 2016 at 4:52 p.m., 18 year -old Austin D. Clark of Canton, Missouri was arrested in Shelby County, Missouri, on charges of 1) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and 2) No Seatbelt.

The charges for which Austin D. Clark has been arrested are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt.
