Missouri Sheriff’s Association Asking For Your Support

Beginning this week, Lewis County residents will be receiving a letter from the Missouri Sheriff’s Association asking for you to support the efforts of Missouri Sheriff’s throughout the state.

Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish advised that the Missouri Sheriff’s Association is a not-for-profit association that represents Missouri’s Sheriff’s in the state capitol, provides a victim’s advocacy program, and provides valuable training for all law enforcement.

The letters will have Sheriff Parrish’s signature on them because as a member of the MSA he has seen how well the executive director and his staff have represented all Sheriffs in the capitol.  They have been integral in making sure our legislature understands what issues effect rural counties like Lewis County.  Parrish stresses that the Association provides a strong voice for every Sheriff.

Many of the citizens of Lewis County have offered their support in the past and it is greatly appreciated.
