Billy Sedelmeier

Mr. William Charles (Billy) Sedelmeier Jr., age 57, of Maywood, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.
Born March 28, 1959 in Quincy, Illinois, Billy was a son of William C. and Marilyn L. Harris Sedelmeier Sr.
Billy was a farmer at heart and enjoyed this work all of his life. He also enjoyed anything John Deere, old things, hunting, tractors, coin collecting, Chevrolet and Windmills. Billy graduated from Highland High School in 1978 and was of the Catholic Faith. He was a member of the NRA.
Survivors include two sons, Shane Sedelmeier of Bethel, Missouri, and Kent (Nicole) Sedelmeier of Oceanside, California; sisters, Penny (Richard) Slawson of Holt Summit, Missouri, Vicki Whitaker of Ewing, Missouri, and Judy (Dennis) Lair of Ewing, Missouri; brother, Gene (Barb) Sedelmeier of Ewing, Missouri; two grandchildren, Tristan and Eliana Sedelmeier both of Oceanside, California; step mother, Esther Sedelmeier of Quincy; step-sisters, Sharon (Terry) Bolterman of St. Louis, Terry (Jim) Schafinit of Quincy, Brenda Hudson of Shawnee, Kansas, Melinda Bausano of Rochester, Illinois; step brother Randy Loscher of Quincy. He was preceded in death by his mother Marilyn Loscher, father Bill Sedelmeier, step father Charles Loscher, brother John Sedelmeier, step-sister, Karen Welch and special friend, Raymond Jones.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ball-Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Kris Palmer officiating. Music will be “Amazing Grace” and “The Old Rugged Cross”. Burial will be in Queen of Peace Cemetery in Ewing. Visitation will be held Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the Ball-Davis Funeral Home in Ewing. Pallbearers will be Shane Sedelmeier, Kent Sedelmeier, Aron Sedelmeier, Johnny Sedelmeier, Art Stutsman and Dale Smith.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Veterans Movement attention Brannon Knox or the charity of the Donor’s Choice in care of Ball-Davis Funeral Home, Ewing, MO.
