North River Bridge on Route 151 Near Novelty Closed for Replacement
Bridge Replacement for the North River Bridge in Knox County on Missouri Route 151 Begins
MoDOT – Knox County, Missouri – Beginning Monday, June 6th, Missouri Route 151 in Knox County closed to traffic for up to 70 calendar days for bridge replacement at North River Bridge, located 0.30 mile south of Missouri Route 156 near Novelty. The new bridge will be 24 feet wide, which is 4 feet wider than the existing one.
Road closure signs will be in place notifying motorists of the work. Motorists will need to use alternate routes during this time. Some areas of the road will remain open to local traffic only; all other traffic must take alternate routes. Boone Construction of Columbia, Missouri was awarded the contract at $469,762.
