Northeast Team Camp Boys Summer Basketball Contests on June 20-25

   The 2016 Northeast Team Camp at Schuyler County wraps up in an expanded six day, two community extravaganza of high school summer league basketball.

  This season’s version of the former Schuyler County Shootout takes place from June 20-25 at Schuyler County HS at Queen City and Novinger High School.

   Participating teams include Putnam County, Cairo, Kirksville, Knox County, Centralia, Fayette, Marion County, Mid Buchanan, Macon, Athens, Brookfield, Scotland County, and Macon.

   Valley Park, Ottumwa, Milan, Trenton, Novinger, Paris, Meadville, Canton, Salisbury, Palmyra, Otterville, New Franklin, Defending Class 1 state champion Stanberry, Jefferson County, North Shelby, Van Buren, South Harrison, South Shelby and Clopton.

   Northeast Team Camp boy’s contests will be held at Novinger HS from June 21-24.  Matches will begin at 8AM daily at Queen City and run as late as 9:20PM.

   Northeast Team Camp game schedules are subject to change. The Queen City location will use the High School and Middle School Gyms.

  Knox County played Centralia, Cairo and Fayette on Monday. Due to the Edina Sentinel and Kahoka Media June 21, 2016 first availability, this story lists NE Team Camp games beginning with Tuesday around noon.

  Queen City games include Knox County playing South County at 12:40PM in the high school gym.

  Athens challenges Clark County at 2PM. Mid Buchanan plays the Knox County varsity at 5:20PM in the Middle School Gym.

   The Mid Buchanan JV plays North Shelby at 5:20PM in the Schuyler County High School Gym. North Shelby takes on Trenton at 6:40PM. North Shelby has two June 21 games at Novinger.

  The Raiders challenge Fayette at 2:40PM at Novinger. The Raiders will play Paris in the next scheduled contest at 3:20PM also at Novinger.

   North Shelby begins their Wednesday, June 22, 2016 schedule with a 2:40PM match with Mid Buchanan at Novinger.  The Raiders play host Novinger at 4PM at Novinger.

   North Shelby ends Wednesday with an 8PM contest against Van Buren County, Iowa at Schuyler County.

   Thursday, June 23 NE Team Camp games involving covered teams all take place at Schuyler County. Knox County plays Clopton at 8:40AM in the High School Gym. The Eagles have an 8:40AM JV game with Ottumwa in the Middle School Gym.

   Knox County has a rematch of sorts with Class 2 semi finalist Iberia in the high school gym at 3:20PM. Iberia ended the Eagle season at Moberly in the quarterfinal round last season.

   Silex takes on Knox County at 5:20PM in the MS Gym. Knox County tangles with Richmond, Missouri at 8:40PM on Friday, June 24 in the Schuyler County High School Gym.

   South Shelby takes on New Franklin at 8:40AM at Novinger. Lathrop plays Knox County back at Schuyler County in the High School Gym starting at 9:20AM.

   South Shelby returns to Queen City to take on Milan at 10:40AM in the High School Gym.  The Cardinals take on Silex in the MS Gym beginning at 12:40PM. South Shelby plays Chillicothe at 3:20PM.

   Saturday, June 25, 2016 games will all be held at Schuyler County. South Shelby takes on Winterset, Iowa at 8:40AM in the High School Gym. The Cardinals play Community R-6 at 11:20AM in the High School Gym.

   South Shelby plays host Schuyler County at Noon in the MS Gym. The Cardinals play North Nodaway County at 2PM in the Middle School Gym.
