Four Vehicle Accident Sends 2 Year-Old To Hospital
A two year-old female child was injured on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at approximately 4:40 p.m. from the result of a four vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 24 on Bayview Bridge, 500 feet west of the Illinois state line.
According to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2003 Dodge Dakota driven by 22 year old male, Tyler J. Krietemeyer of Maywood, Missouri, was eastbound when he struck the rear of vehicle 2, a 2003 Pontiac Bonneville driven by a 35 year old male, Seth A. Burton of LaGrange, Missouri. Vehicle 2 driven by Burton then struck vehicle 3, a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by a female, 28 year old Tracy M. Stuckman of Quincy, Illinois causing vehicle 3 to strike the rear of vehicle 4, a 2007 Pontiac Torrent driven by a 16 year old female, Hunter J. Collier of LaGrange, Missouri.
After vehicle 2 driven by Seth Burton collided with vehicle 3 driven by Tracy Stuckman, the Burton vehicle slid on its passenger side and the roof of vehicle 2 struck the drivers side of vehicle 4 driven by Hunter Collier.
Burton’s two year old daughter suffered minor injuries and was transported by private auto to Blessing Hospital in Quincy for treatment.
The Missouri Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Quincy Police department.
