Martin K. Huber, 74, of Rutledge, Missouri, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016, surrounded by family at his home.
Martin was born on January 17, 1942 in East Earl, Pennsylvania, the son of Phares M. and Lena B. Kurtz Huber.
On July 13, 1974, in Richland, Pennsylvania, he married Esther W. Oberholtzer. They moved to Missouri to make their home in 1975.
They were members of the Prairie Ridge Mennonite Church.
Martin is survived by his wife Esther of the home in Rutledge, Missouri; a son, Loren and Malinda Huber of Baring, Missouri; a daughter, Janet Rankin of Fountain, Florida; eight grandchildren; a great granddaughter; brothers and sisters, Christian K. Huber of Manheim, PA, Melvin K. and Edith Huber of Myerstown, PA, John David and Mary Huber of Memphis, MO, Irma K. Martin of Rutledge, MO, twins, Martha K. and Marian K. Huber of Terre Hill, PA, Sara Ann and Paul Weaver of Myerstown, PA, and Laura and Enos Showalter of S. Wayne, WI; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Anna (Lloyd) Huber of New Holland, PA; along with numerous nieces, nephew, cousins and host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Grace Huber; son, Ronald; two brothers, Lloyd and Phares Huber; two infant sisters, Mary and Anna; two sisters, Esther Weaver and Elva Huber; and two bother-in-laws, Franklin Weaver and David Martin.
Funeral Services were Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at the Millport Mennonite Church south of Rutledge, Missouri.
Burial was in the Millport Mennonite Cemetery south of Rutledge, Missouri.
Officiates for the services were Vernon Oberholtzer, Carl Hoover, Earl Oberholtzer, Abner Oberholtzer and Amos K. Martin.
Casket Bearers were Mervin Huber, Vernon Martin, David Eugene Martin, Glen Oberholtzer , David Hoover, Lynford Oberholtzer.
