Lewis County Primary Election Results

A total of 1600 Lewis County voters made their way to the polls for the Primary Election on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 casting 1,011 Republican ballots, 587 Democratic ballots and two Libertarian ballots.

Voter turnout in Lewis County was 27.38 percent.

In the Assessor race, four candidates were narrowed down to two. On the Democratic ticket, Carla Boudreau crept ahead of Carrie Crist by a margin of only 16 votes. Boudreau received 291 votes. Crist received 275 votes.

In the Northern County Commissioner race, incumbent John Campen won with 184 votes. Challenger Terry L. Lay received 98 votes. Campen will face off against Republican candidate Deanne Winston in the November General Election.

In the Southern County Commissioner race, Travis Fleer won with 355 votes. Challenger Andrew Wiskirchen received 261 votes. Fleer will go on to face off with Republican incumbent Jesse Roberts in the November General Election.
