Canton Man Arrested Following Serious Accident

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, on Saturday, September 17, 2016, at 1:10 a.m., one mile north of Canton, Missouri, on Route B,  a Canton, Missouri man was seriously injured in an automobile accident.

Thirty-two year old Cody L. Kaylor was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado that traveled off of the right side of the roadway, overturned and ejected Kaylor who was not wearing a safety device  from the vehicle.  At 1:27 a.m. he was arrested for driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving.

Kaylor was transported to Blessing Hospital by Lewis County Ambulance District where  he was being held without bond.  The vehicle was totaled and secured at the scene.

The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, Canton Police Department and the Lewis County Fire and Rescue assisted the MSHP at the scene.
