Echo Leanne Welte, age 41, of Kirksville, Missouri, died unexpectedly Thursday November 17, 2016.
Born on August 21, 1975 in Des Moines, Iowa, Echo was a daughter of Kenneth Hanie Sr. and Judith Ann Dobey.
She graduated from Highland High School with the class of 1993. Echo worked as a home health provider. She loved spending time with her children and painting.
Echo is survived by three children; Bethany Welte and fiancée Andrew Wellman, Danielle Welte, and Ethan Welte all of Kirksville, MO. She is survived by one stepson, Logan Welte of Kirksville, MO. Echo is also survived by eight brothers and sisters; Phillip Meany of Ewing, MO; Kevin and wife Sandy Meany of Maywood, MO; Laura and husband Mike Clow of Maywood, MO; Toni and husband Gary Fogglesong of Taylor, MO; Barbara Johnston and fiancee Joe Leffler of Clayton, IL; Kenny Hanie Jr. of Maywood, MO; Colt Hanie of Kirksville, MO; Libertie and husband Michael of Kirksville, MO. She is also survived by her father, Kenneth Hanie Sr. and several nieces and nephews. Echo was preceded in death by her mother, Judith Ann Dobey, and one son, Danny Charles Welte Jr.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 26, 2016, at Ball-Davis Funeral Home in Ewing, with Pastor Lonnie Johnson officiating. Interment was in the East Center Cemetery near Kirksville.
Pallbearers were: Curt Meany, Justin Carper, Blayde Meany, Andrew Wellman, Aaron Mitchell, Derek Cunningham.
