CAROL S. BURR

Carol S. Burr, age 71 of Rock Island, IL, died Thursday, March 9, 2017, at the Clark Co. Nursing Home in Kahoka where she had been a resident the past two years.

Carol was born November 19, 1945 in Granite City, IL, a daughter of Raymond and Evelyn Hubbard Wafler.

She married Raymond Burr on July 3, 1991.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond, of Rock Island, IL; two stepdaughters and their families, Tiffany (Joe) Stockhausen of Rozell, IL and Sherry (Nick) Kuperson of Port Byron, IL, and a brother and his family, Terry (Sonda) Wafler of DeLand, FL.

She was a retired salesperson for National Steel Corporation and enjoyed traveling for her job.  She worked most of her life and enjoyed golfing and RV’ing with her husband.

Carol was entrusted to the care of Wilson Funeral Home for cremation.
