David L. Bradley, 70, of Columbia, died on Sunday, January 7, 2018, surrounded by his family.

A visitation at 10:00 a.m. and a celebration of life at 11:00 a.m. will be held at Compass Evangelical Free Church at 600 Silvey Rd, Columbia on Saturday, Jan. 13.

He was born on Feb. 5, 1947, in Quincy, Illinois, a son of Melvin and Nina Bradley.

Raised in Steffenville, David was a graduate of Lewis County R1 High School in LaBelle, Missouri. Dave graduated with his BA in Zoology from the University of Missouri in 1969. In 1977, Dave graduated with his Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Kentucky.

David served in the Army Reserves from 1969 to 1975.

Dave served as a pharmacist at Jewish Hospital, University of Missouri Hospital, and Boone Hospital, as well as the Director of Pharmacy at Ellis Fischel Cancer Center and Moberly Regional Medical Center. He also served as a professor at Central Methodist University, St. Louis College of Pharmacy, and University of Missouri Kansas City.

While at Mizzou, he was active in the Christian Campus House and Westside Christian Church. Dave was a member of Compass Evangelical Free Church where he served God as a team leader, elder, and Sunday school teacher. He previously served as an elder at West County Christian Church in St. Louis and an elder at Broadway Christian Church in Lexington, Ky.

On December 27, 1969, he married Linda Eades Bradley in Lexington, Kentucky.

David was the father of Brandon (Eleanor) of Columbia, Dara Booth (Seneca) of Columbia, Benjamin (Rachel) of St. Louis; proud grandfather of eight; brother of four sisters, Helen, Judy, Mary and Margaret; and one brother, Michael.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents.
