  LESLIE ALAN HUSTON

Leslie Alan Huston, age 79, of Kahoka, MO, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at his home.
    Leslie was born March 28, 1939 in Sheridan, Wyoming, a son of Frank Leslie and Eunice Rife Huston.
    Survivors include his siblings: Judith Ann Householder of Keokuk, IA, Janet (Bill) Ramsey, Rosemary (Ralph) Dorrell, and Patrick Huston all of Kahoka, Michael (Penny) Huston of Tulsa, OK and Rachel (Greg) Cook of Montrose, IA; as well as nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Shirley Huston; a nephew, Kevin Wayne Tate; and brothers-in-law, Cleve Householder and Ronald Roof.
    He married Joan Page and they later divorced.  He was a father figure to her children, Patty Hymes and Bobby Page, and also to his many nieces and nephews  of whom he was very proud.
    Les was a truck driver for more than 40 years, driving from coast to coast.  Following retirement, he continued to enjoy traveling and site seeing, visiting national parks, Hawaii, and taking cruises.  In later years, he was content to stay close to home.   His hobbies were watching football and baseball on TV and always was vocal about his teams.  He also enjoyed reading, attending family reunions, and visiting at the local café with friends.
    Private family services will be held at a later date in the Kahoka Cemetery.
    Visitation was held Monday, May 21, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka.
    Memorials are suggested to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
