Tractor vs. Car Crash Southwest of Hurdland – VIDEO

Two men were injured in a crash involving a John Deere tractor and a 4-door sedan on State Route O just south of the Highway 6 junction at approximately 4:30 p.m.

According to the first bystander to arrive on the scene of the crash, both drivers were out of their vehicles, conscious and talking.

The driver of the sedan laid down in a ditch to wait for emergency responders to arrive and the driver of the tractor waited for emergency responders in a nearby vehicle.

They were taken by ambulance to the Northeast Regional Hospital in Kirksville, according to a representative of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.

State Route O was closed in both directions for approximately one hour following the crash.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office, Knox County Ambulance District, Knox County Rescue Squad, Hurdland Volunteer Fire Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the crash.
