Canton Man Arrested For Felony Drug Possession

According to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department, on September 28, 2018, John D Hardy, age 34, of Canton, Missouri was arrested by the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office on one count of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, a class D felony, and one count of possession of a controlled substance, heroin, a class D felony.  The arrest stems from a traffic stop made by a deputy  in Canton, Missouri.

The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Canton Police Department.

Hardy remains lodged in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash only bond.

Criminal charges are merely accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
