Palmyra Tournament Finals Rescheduled

Third place and consolation championship games from the 76th Annual Tony Lenzini Basketball Tournament at Palmyra have been cancelled due a winter storm that is raking Northeast Missouri Friday, January 18, 2019.
Canton was scheduled to take on Knox County for the girls’ consolation championship on Friday evening. The Canton boys were slated to play Mark Twain for the boys’ fifth place trophy. Highland was scheduled to play Monroe City for the girls’ third place medals.
All three Friday, January 18, 2018 tournament games were cancelled and will not be rescheduled. Clark County was to take on Van-Far for boy’s third place on Saturday, January 19, 2019. The boys third place game was cancelled and will not be made up.
Both championship games have been rescheduled from Saturday to Monday, January 21, 2019. Palmyra is currently scheduled to play Clark County for the girl’s championship at 6PM. State ranked Monroe City and Palmyra will play at 7:30PM for the boys’ championship weather permitting.
