Judge Sides With KCR-1 School District in Locker Room Incident Suspension

Edina, MO – Wednesday, June 19, 2019 – Judge Gary Dial has issued a decision in Case No. 19KN-CC00002 upholding a decision by the Knox County R-1 School District to suspend a student at the beginning of the 2018-19 school year following a locker room incident.

Judge Dial entered in favor of the Defendant, Knox County R-I School District, and against the Plaintiff, on all claims in Plaintiff’s Petition for Judicial Review.

According to the Judge Dial’s Order, The DECISION OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION upholding the suspension of Plaintiff through the end of the 2018-2019 school year and extending that suspension through the first day of the 2019-2020 school year IS AFFIRMED.

The order was issued today, June 19.
