SCHD Statement on Third Confirmed Case of COVID-19 in Shelby County
Shelby County, Missouri – June 23, 2020 – Shelby Co. Health Department has been notified of the 3rd case of COVID-19. The individual is isolated in their home and close contacts are in quarantine at this time. No further information regarding this case will be made public. IF you have been identified as a close contact you will be notified by our office.
We ask the community to step up their handwashing regime, avoiding large crowds and staying home if exhibiting ANY symptoms of flu or Covid-19. Drive-Thru testing is available at HRH during the weekdays from 8-4 pm. Please call ahead if you feel you need to be tested.
Social distancing is strongly encouraged and wearing face masks if you must be in a large group where social distancing is not possible. Please be responsible and safe in your day to day activities.
