Hunter Education Skills Session Being Offered in Edina – Limited Space Available

The Missouri Department of Conservation will conduct a Hunter Education Skills Class in Edina, MO on September 19, 2020 from 1:00 PM-5:00 PM. This class will be held at the Knox County Community Center located just north of the court house.

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, class size is STRICTLY LIMITED to 15 Students!

Social distancing will be observed. Students are required to wear a mask! Hand sanitizer will be available.

Students are required to be at least 11 years of age or older to attend this class and must present proof of age.

This class will consist of students being taught the correct handling of firearms, their responsibilities, tree stand safety and more. Students MUST complete the Knowledge Portion BEFORE attending this Class. This can be done by going on line and completing the required portion, pay their $15.00 fee for the FINAL EXAM then print the Course Qualifier. This paper MUST be brought to the Skills Class for entrance.

The next option is to pick up a student manual at the Community Center, Edina Farm & Home, or the MDC office in Kirksville for free, read it and then complete ALL questions in the back of this manual. Students MUST bring this manual to the Skills Class for entrance.

ALL students need to go on line to the Department of Conservation’s website,

(www.mdc.mo.gov) to register for this Skills Class.
