Lois Louise Wullbrandt, 98, of Memphis died on Monday, February 9, 2009 at Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

She was born the daughter of William Charles and Anna Lee (Hart) Crabaugh on August 24, 1910 in Joplin, MO.

Lois married Harold William Wullbrandt on April 14, 1946 in Kansas City, MO. Four children were born to this union.

In 1978, she moved from Missouri to California, where she would reside for the next 20 years. Lois moved to Memphis in April of 1998, and then to the Scotland County Care Center in October of 2006.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Jean Crabaugh and Lela Durbin; a daughter, Jan Alice Wullbrandt, who died in infancy; and a granddaughter, Pamela Lorene Russell.

She is survived by her son, Jon A. Wullbrandt of Memphis; daughters Lee Ann and husband Frank Russell of Memphis and Lou Ann and husband Dennis Bachtel of Pleasanton, CA; a brother, William Charles Crabaugh, Jr., of Lumberton, Texas; four granddaughters, Brenda and husband Karl DeMarce of Memphis, Amy Bachtel and fiancé Dom Mullen and Kimberly Bachtel, all of Pleasanton, and Alisse Wullbrandt of Los Angeles, CA; five great grandchildren, Cat, Marie, Renee, Will and Susannah DeMarce, all of Memphis.
A memorial Mass was said on Monday, February, 16, 2009 at St. John’s in Memphis. Fr. Bill Kottenstette officiated. Joan Hinds, Kathy Campbell, and LaMayra Brown performed Old Rugged Cross, Rock of Ages, and Amazing Grace.

A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
