PATRICIA ANN GOBEN

   
         Patricia Ann Goben, age 83, of Kahoka, MO, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 3, 2012, at the Clark Co. Nursing Home in Kahoka.
      Pat was born March 23, 1929 at Ridgeway, MO a daughter of Denny and Dora Mercer Jinks.  She was adopted and raised by Charles and Mable Overhulser in 1939.
    Pat was first married to Curtis Jr. Jenkins on June 23, 1945 and they were the parents of four children, Linda, Chuck, Stanley and Tommy.  She later married Paul Little in 1966.  On March 2, 1983 she was united in marriage to Ronald “Cochise” Goben who preceded her in death on January 26, 1989.
      Survivors include three sons, Chuck (Sue) Jenkins of Kahoka, MO, Stanley (Sheila) Jenkins of Luray, MO and Scott (Libby) Goben of Kahoka, MO; three daughters, Linda Luedeman of Kahoka, MO, Paula Dean Little Wood of Seymour, MO, and Lorrie Pomeranz of Parkers Prairie, MN; twenty-seven grandchildren: Kirk (Kim) Sears, Crystal (Diane) Jenkins, Dawn (Mrs. Peter) Graham, Andrea Jenkins, Brooke (Mrs. Wayne) Purchase, Curtis Jenkins, Ashley Walters, Amy Walters, Carrie (Mrs. Cody) Worrell, Kali (Mrs. Donald) Whitaker, Kristi (Mrs. Tommy) Oberman, Chub, Quintin, and Kelsie Johnson, Pam (Mrs. Wes) Jensen, Amanda (Mrs. Richie) Webster, Kim (Mrs. Keane) Morrison, Paul (Dawn) Jenkins, Christina Carter, Jennifer Carter, Shelby, Roni and Scott Goben, Jr., Dustin, Sarah, Dexter and Spencer Pomeranz; thirty-one great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law: Larry (Ruth) Goben, Den (Teresa) Goben, Sandy (Mrs. Terry) Strandberg, Bob Polk, Benne (Judy) Goben, Randy (Lucy) Goben, Steve Goben, Bonnie Goben, Lala Goben; as well as nieces and nephews.
     She was preceded in death by a son, Tommy; husband, Ronald “Cochise” Goben; two sisters; one brother; two granddaughters; one daughter-in-law; two son-in-laws; four brother-in-laws; two sister-in-laws; two nephews; and several beloved pets.
      Pat was a graduate of Kahoka High School.  She spent her life as a homemaker, caring for her children and enjoying time with her extended family.  She loved her pets, mowing, caring for her garden and getting out and going whenever she could.  She loved traveling with Ron to listen to his music.   Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her family and enjoying the meals they cooked for her.
    Funeral services were held Monday, December 10, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka with Pastor Shawn McAfee officiating.  Eulogists were Mr. Kirk Sears and Miss Shelby Goben.
    Honorary Pallbearers were Gene Laffoon, Gary Folluo, Art Vaughan, John Wrieden, Larry Goben, Ruth Goben, Teresa Goben, Den Goben, Benne Goben, Judy Goben, Bob Polk, Sandy Strandberg, Randy Goben, Lucy Goben, Steve Goben, Bonnie Goben, and Lala Goben.
    Pallbearers were Scott Goben, Scott Goben, Jr., Steve Wilson, Keith Wilson, Mike Privia and Jerry Denham.
     Burial was in the Kahoka Cemetery.
    Visitation was held at Wilson Funeral Home after 9 a.m. Monday with family receiving friends from 11 a.m. until time of services.  Memorials were suggested to the Clark Co. Senior Center.
