Missouri Governor Candidate Holds Meet and Greet in Knox Co.
Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft and the Knox County Republican Committee held a public meet and greet campaign event at the Baring Community Center. The July 7, 2024 event was part of Secretary Ashcroft’s campaign for the Republican Party nomination for Governor of Missouri.
Residents of Knox County and surrounding communities had the opportunity to speak to Jay Ashcroft along with members of the Ashcroft for Governor Campaign staff.
Secretary Ashcroft’s family was in attendance along with State Representative Greg Sharpe (R-4th District Mo.). Edina Mayor and Knox County Republican Committee Co-Chair Linda Kerr was in attendance along with Knox Co. Republican Committee Chairman Doug Kerr.
Jay Ashcroft told the assembled gathering that he had traveled to all of Missouri’s 114 counties for the ninth year in a row. Ashcroft discussed his “Bold Conservative vision for Engineering a better Missouri.”
The primary election to select candidates for the November 2024 General Election will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.
