Wanda previously worked at Quincy Paper Box, American Safety, and Universal Display. She had a servant’s heart and generously volunteered her time at the First Baptist Church, especially in the nursery and Vacation Bible School, as well as with the Palmyra Food Pantry. Wanda truly loved children and found joy in caring for others.
She cherished time spent with friends, particularly meeting the “coffee gals” at Maggie’s, and delighted in thrifting, antiquing, and browsing flea markets. A devoted reader of Country Living Magazine, Wanda’s home reflected that cozy, charming country style she so admired. She was spunky and witty, never afraid to speak her mind, yet always caring, loving, and friendly to everyone she met.
Wanda enjoyed playing games—cards, dominoes, Yahtzee, and Scrabble—and could often be found watching the Game Show Network and Lifetime movies. She loved dining out at her favorite Mexican restaurant and savoring a good margarita. Her music tastes leaned toward classic country, especially Ronnie Milsap, Dolly Parton, and Elvis. Wanda also enjoyed collecting bottle openers and country crocks, each piece reflecting her personality and love for simple pleasures.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Tallman, Garrett Hammel, Jared Jung, Terry Morgan, and Shelby Job.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Tallman, Donnely Jung, Julian Tallman and the coffee gals at Maggie’s.
Memorials contributions may be made to the Palmyra Food Pantry.
