Palmyra R-I Music Concert
The music students of the Palmyra R-1 Middle and High Schools presented their Spring concert at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, under the direction of Mrs. Brianna Gingerich. They performed in the High School gym.
5th and 6th Grade Choir
The members of the 5/6th Grade Choir are Shekinah Affoogo, Aubree Campbell, Charlotte Crist, Autumn Harper, Kayleighann Hudnall, Juvia Janes, Aiden Kaden, Natalee Kiser, Leanna Klecan, Mark Knochel, Zaily Orr, Brynlee Parrish, Lyla Raney, Elsie Rhine, Chantelle Scholl, Brekyn Sharp, Everly Sharp, Miles Sutter, and Emersyn Zehnle. They performed Musica Dei by Greg Gilpin, That’s What Makes You Beautiful Arr. by Ed
Lojeski, Storm by James Des Jardin, and O Colored Earth by Steve Heitzig.
High School Choir
The members of the High School Choir are Kohleigh Abell, Myia Barrett, Ziek Brentlinger, Logan Clement, Savannah Comeau, Hannah Damron, Jade Foglesong, Miranda Gray, Tegan Herold, Zoe James, Aurora Long, Ericka Manolache, Sarah Mason, Hauns Nunemacher, A’Jaya Robertson, Adalayna Sodari, Anabella Sodari, Lillie Thomas Ahern, and Abigail Wallace. The performed Gloria Deo by Mary Lynn Lightfoot, Caverns in the Clouds by Shayla Blake, Rain by Daniel Brinsmead, Hold On by Jacob Narverud, and Revolution by PinkZebra.
5th Grade Band
The members of the 5th Grade Band are Grayson Boyer, Eliana Bunten, Addison Byerly, Brian Freels, Jax Fuqua, Adalynn Jackson, Aryana Johnson, Serenity Kirby, Mark Knochel, Ezekiel LaSala, Blayze Loyd, Matthew Maravillas, Greta Nichols, Audrey Platt, Quentin Robbins, Cooper Runquist, Jaxson Salzman, Bianca Speckhart, Jacob Tobias-Moore, and Jace Wallender. They performed Ezekiel Saw The Wheel- EE Book, Banana Boat- EE Book, Bottom Bass Boogie- EE Book, and Code of Hammurabi by Victor Lopez.
6th Grade Band
The members of the 6th Grade Band are Shepherd Breitling, Carson Brown, Noah Creech, Samuel(Les) Freels, Jaxon Gottman, Jacob Gray, Sarah Jane Harrison, Emmalynn Jones, Caleb Kelley, Henry Kepner, Everett Lehenbauer, Guadalupe Leon Murillo, Ethan Lotz, Chloe Maddox, Cooper Mannigel, Lincoln Steffen, David Wilson, and Piper Winningham. They performed Home arr. by Victor Lopez, Spirit of the Stallion by Brian Balmages, Classic Bits and Pieces by Michael Story, and Antz by Carol Britten Chambers.
7th and 8th Grade Band
The members of the 7/8th Grade Band are Easton Ammer, Gavin Courtney, Reagon Jackson, Colton Johnson, Callen Knochel, Heidi Lehenbauer, Marlena Moody, Carter Pruett, Esteban Vasquez, and William Wise. They performed Slavonic Dances Arr. by Andrew Balentby, Crazy Train Arr. By Johnnie Vinson, and Breakneck by Tyler Arcari.
High School Band

They performed Big Four March Arr. by James Swearington, Lincolnshire Posy 2nd Movement Arr. by Michael Sweeney, Shrek Dance Party Arr. by Paul Murtha, Pastel Sunset by Heather Hoefle, Fire Dance by David Schaffer, Pink Panther Mambo arr. by Greg Nielsen.
