NEMR Awards 2026 Scholarship to Green City Senior Keyara Vasey

Green City, MO — NEMR is proud to announce Keyara Vasey of Green City High School as a recipient of the 2026 NEMR Scholarship. Keyara was awarded a $500 scholarship during the Green City Senior Awards ceremony in recognition of her hard work, achievements, and bright future ahead.

Each year, NEMR awards eight $500 scholarships—one to a graduating senior at each high school within its service area. This annual initiative reflects NEMR’s continued commitment to investing in local students and strengthening the communities it proudly serves.

“Supporting our youth is one of the most meaningful ways we can give back,” said NEMR General Manager Michele Gillespie. “As these students take their next steps into the world, we are honored to play a small part in their journey and celebrate the potential they bring to the future.”

The scholarship was presented by NEMR’s Gracey Gordon, who had the pleasure of recognizing Keyara during the awards ceremony.
