BRENDA ECKLAND

Brenda Eckland, 82, of Iowa City, passed away on May 24, 2026.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026 at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. A memorial service will follow at 5:00 p.m. Private interment will be held at Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk, Iowa.

Brenda is survived by her brother, Leon (Hazel) Buford and her children: Dean (Kasey) Eckland, Kip Standley, Brian (Cori) Eckland and Lance (Mishelle) Eckland; 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 5 nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Iowa City Hospice or American Cancer Society.
