PATRICIA ANN PINSON
Patricia Ann Pinson, age 96, of Edina, Missouri, passed away May 31, 2026, in the LaBelle Manor Care Center in LaBelle, Missouri. She was born April 23, 1930, in Alsey, Illinois, the daughter of Lewis Roy and Lola Lucille Coats Day.
She was united in marriage to Jesse Ray Pinson, on August 13, 1950, in Kirksville, Missouri, and he preceded her in death on February 19, 1993. Patricia was also preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Thomas Roy Pinson and David Ray Pinson, two grandsons, Scott and Josh Pinson, one granddaughter Julie Diane Pinson and two sisters Judith Lucille “Judy” Day and Mary Jane Pinson and her in-laws Paul and Ethel Pinson.
Surviving are five children, Alan Pinson of Comfort, TX, Linda (Roger) Shultz of Maywood, MO, Richard (Kathy) Pinson of Edina, MO, John (Kelli) Pinson of Edina, MO, and Marsha (Randy) Lewis of Jonesborough, TN; one daughter-in-law, Karen Pinson of Edina, MO; one sister-in-law, Barbara Lee of Fulton, MO; 19 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 16 great great-grandchildren; one great great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Patricia and her husband lived all their married life in Knox County where they farmed and raised cattle. After the death of her husband, she worked at Mauck’s Family Restaurant in LaBelle for 11 years. She also served as an election Judge for Liberty Township in Knox County, was active in 4-H while her children were growing up and was a member of the Classy Lassies Red Hat Group.
Patricia enjoyed reading, gardening, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Edina Baptist Church.
Visitation was held Friday, June 5, 2026, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO, with services following at the funeral home. Pastor Steven Dresen officiated the services. Music was provided by Rita Worthington, and Elisia Dohman. Music selections were Amazing Grace, Old Rugged Cross and Supermarket Flowers.
Burial was in the Linville Cemetery with Greg Dent, Dustin Shultz, Tyson Shultz, Mitchel Pinson, Travis Pinson and Grant Pinson as casket bearers and honorary bearers were Kaleb Lewis, Darin Yoakum, and Brenton Hudelson.
