Sullivan County Pharmacy Celebrates with Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting

MILAN, Mo. — The Milan Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday, June 11, to celebrate Sullivan County Pharmacy.
Owned by Sullivan County Memorial Hospital, the pharmacy is located at 511 W. Third St. in Milan. The pharmacy opened in February 2025 and provides prescription services, pharmacist consultations and education, over-the-counter pharmacy products and a Milan Loyalty Program.
Hospital officials said the retail pharmacy was established to help meet the healthcare needs of the community by providing convenient access to prescription medications and pharmacy services close to home.
“The SCMH Board and Staff appreciate the outpouring of community support for our local retail pharmacy since our opening in February 2025,” hospital officials said. “The SC Pharmacy is a key component in offering needed healthcare services to our community.”
Representatives of the chamber, hospital and pharmacy staff gathered for the ceremony marking the pharmacy’s continued service to Milan and the surrounding area.
