LARRY WAYNE WHITE

Larry Wayne White, 81, of Milan, Missouri, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Brookfield Life Care Center in Brookfield, Missouri.

Larry was born November 2, 1944 in Milan, to Donald and Opal (Brinkley) White. On September 27, 1964, he married the love of his life, Glenda (Adams) White, they were married for almost 62 years. Survivors include: His wife, Glenda of the home; Three children, Leslie McCabe and husband Joe of Milan, Brad White and wife Sherri of Milan, and Brian White of Trenton; Grandchildren, Josh (Sam) McCabe, Sheena (Brett) Smith, Derick (Sierra) White, Colton (Maddie) White, Kyla (Dalton) White, Jacob White, and Marcus White; Great grandchildren, Kasen Smith, Kreid Smith, Jacoby McCabe, Jayven McCabe, Gavin McCabe, Stormy White, and Knox White; Brother-in-law, Edgar Adams and wife Evon of Kirksville, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by: His parents; Grandparents, Bertha and Fritz Brinkley, daughter-in-law, Tracey Mason- White; and a sister, Dixie Chapman and husband Ernie; a sister-in-law, Janie Mrkvicka.

Larry lived most of his life in Sullivan County, graduating from Milan C-II in 1962, where he enjoyed playing football. Larry worked at Stampers, Banquet, and retiring when it was ConAgra after 42 years. He then farmed and raised cattle. Larry enjoyed fishing, coon hunting with mules, and gardening. He loved watching sports and westerns, and watching his kids and grandkids play ball. Larry was a member of the Milan Christian Church.

Funeral services for Larry was held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home in Milan. Burial followed at White Oak Cemetery, South of Milan. A visitation was held at 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday evening, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Milan Christian Church or White Oak Cemetery.
