PERSONNEL ATTEND TRAINING
The Kirksville USDA, Rural Development personnel recently attended a training session on the Community Facility Guaranteed Loan program given by Clark Thomas, Business & Community Programs Director and Nathan Chitwood, Business & Community Programs Specialist. Both are located in the Missouri State Office in Columbia, MO.
Community Facilities are essential to the quality of life in any rural community. Through the Community Facilities Guaranteed Program of USDA Rural Development, guaranteed financing to a private lender is available to help communities meet the basic needs of it citizens. For specific areas of interest concerning eligibility criteria; requirements for grants, loans or guarantees; and terms of the financing; interested parties are encouraged to visit with a USDA representative.
