Palmyra R-1 Board Approves Resignations, New Hires

The Palmyra R-1 Board of Education met in special session on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. in the Palmyra R-1 Boardroom. The primary purpose of the meeting was to
approve resignations and hires for the District.

The following resignations were approved:
Brandon Crisp – Girls Tennis Coach
Steven Jones – Elementary P.E. Teacher, Middle School Boys Basketball Coach and
Middle School Assistant Football Coach
Julie Thrower – High School P.E./Health Teacher, Middle School Girls Softball Coach

The following hires were approved:
Alysha Barnett – Part-Time High School Math Teacher
Brandon Crisp – Middle School Girls Basketball Coach
Logan Farris – Middle School Science Club Sponsor
Liz Frankenbach – High School Co-Student Council Sponsor
Steven Jones – Transportation Director
Kendra Maples – Girls Tennis Coach
Brian Rea – Girls Golf Coach
Becky White – Part-Time Vocal Music Teacher
Brian Wosman – Athletic Director
