  Naomi P. Eicher, age 29, of rural Kahoka, MO, died Saturday, September 15, St. John’s Medical Center in Springfield, IL, following an accident the same day on Highway 61 near Canton, MO, which also took the life of her son, Mahlon J. Eicher, age 6.

  Naomi was born December 16, 1977, at Bowling Green, MO, a daughter of Peter and Wilma Kemp Burkholder.

  She was married to Jacob H. Eicher on April 30, 1998 at Alexandria, MO.

  Survivors include her husband, Jacob, of the home; one son, Cletus, and a daughter, Edith, both of the home; her parents, Peter and Wilma Kemp Burkholder of rural Alexandria; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Henry and Anna Eicher of Kahoka, MO; her grandparents: Chris and Lea Burkholder of Carrollton, MO and Mary Kemp of Alexandria, MO; three brothers: Chris Burkholder of Iowa, Wilmer of Alexandria, MO, and Mahlon of Lewisburg, KY; seven sisters: Mrs. Amos (Sarah) Eicher, of Revere, Mrs. John (Marie) Eicher of Alexandria, Mrs. Toby (Leah) Eicher of Revere, Mrs. David (Martha) Eicher of Revere, Mrs. Rudy (Emma) Schwarz of Kahoka, Mrs. Chriss (Lydia) Miller of Kahoka, and Rosie Burkholder of Alexandria; also great aunts and uncles, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

   Noami was a homemaker and a beloved member of the Amish Community. Funeral services for Naomi and Mahlon will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2007at 9 a.m. at the home of Chriss Miller, rural Kahoka, with burial following in the Amish Cemetery.
