LINDA FOWLER

Linda Fowler, 77, currently of Montrose, Iowa, formally of Wayland, Missouri, passed away at 10:45 pm, on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Fort Madison Hospital, Fort Madison, Iowa.

Linda was born on August 5, 1948, in Sigourney, Iowa to Calvin L and Dorothy E (Showman) Jacobs. Linda graduated from Sigourney High School, in Sigourney, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Delane Davis and to this union 3 children were born. They later divorced. Linda was united in marriage to Donald Fowler on December 30, 1994, and he preceded her in death on October 13, 2006.

Linda was very crafty. She did glass engravings for many loyal customers throughout the years. She was a seamstress and her specialty was making wedding dresses and prom dresses for many young girls. Linda loved relaxing whether it be cooking in her kitchen or watching her favorite show Yellowstone along with her cat Garfield. When Linda became a resident at the Montrose Health Care Nursing Home, she enjoyed coloring pictures for the residents and looked forward to seeing the nursing home companion dog Nova who could put a smile on her face every day.

Linda is survived by her son Joel Davis of Oskaloosa, Iowa, a daughter Linette (Joe) Lang of Fort Madison, Iowa, and a sibling.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald Fowler, a son Chris Davis, and a brother.

According to her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no visitation or funeral service.
