Lady Indians Improve to 4-5

The Clark County Lady Indian softball team improved their 2008 record to 4-5 with a come-from-behind win over the Highland Lady Cougars Thursday night
Playing in front of a home crowd for the first time this season, the Indians hit the ball well against a tough Cougar team.

Highland got their lone score in the third inning, following a series of Indian throwing errors, and held on to the lead until the bottom of the seventh inning.

Cady Flood got a lead-off single in the inning, and advanced to second as Caitlyn Davis hit a fly to first.

Britni Bertelli has hit by a pitch, and Brooke Wheeler drove in the game winning run.

The Lady Indians play at Scotland Co. on Monday, and host Milan Tuesday, before travelling to the Paris Tournament on Saturday.
