He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Bobby Calnan.
Pat grew up in Edina and Hannibal, Missouri, graduating in 1980. He lived his adult life in Columbia and Macon, Missouri, having worked for Pillsbury, Oscar Meyer and Hawg Fathers. He was an avid painter and took great pride in his work. Pat attended Linn Tech and was currently taking college courses. He was an avid cook, and was looking forward to culinary school next year. As a young boy he loved baseball, hockey and bowling. At the age of 10 he bowled over 100 games in one day to be the champ in a bowling marathon. Music became his love during his teenage years, and he still rocked with Sammy Hagar, Kiss and Van Halen. As he got older Blues and Cajun music took hold and he loved his Muddy Waters and Tab Benoit, but the love of his life was his family. He adored his nieces and nephews and shared with all of his friends the stories of their lives and those of their children.
