SHARLEE C. MCCARTY ANDERSON

Sharlee Anderson Sharlee C. McCarty Anderson, age 70, of Hurdland, Missouri, passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 21, 2015.

She was born November 19, 1944, at LaBelle, Missouri, the daughter of Charles Clendis and Annie Burkhardt McCarty.

Sharlee united in marriage with Lonnie D. Mason and he preceded her in death on September 26, 1967, to this union two children were born David Mason and Tina Longano.  Sharlee united in marriage to Henry Lohaus, and to this union two children were born, Barbara Hocker and Lill V. Walton.  On November 18, 2002, Sharlee united in marriage with Ronald Lee Anderson and he preceded her in death on January 8, 2009.  Sharlee was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Billie Dawn McCarty and Joyce Ann Burkhardt; and one brother, Dale McCarty.

Surviving are four children, David Mason and Brenda of Hurdland, Missouri, Tina Longano and Chris of Kirksville, Missouri, Barbara Hocker of Hurdland, Missouri, and Lill V. Walton and Randy of Hurdland, Missouri; two sisters, Elaine Misner and Stuart of Arizona, Mary Dugan and niece Flora Ann of Kirksville, Missouri; two brothers, Charles (C.E.) McCarty and Joanne of Edina, Missouri, and Eugene (Pete) McCarty of Quincy, Illinois; twelve grandchildren, Brian Mason, Curtis Mason, Alexis Longano Curtis and Gara, Paige Swartz and Gary, Heather Longano and Matt, Christopher Longano, Kelsey Hocker and Kevin, Dalton Hocker, Bradey Walton, Brandon Walton, Andrew Walton, and Austin Walton; four great grandchildren, Legion and Mavis Swartz, Rylee and Addilyn Bleything; and several nieces and nephews.

Sharlee graduated from Novelty High School.  She was a homemaker and lived most of her life in Hurdland.  She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Monday, October 26, 2015, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.  Burial will be in the Hurdland I.O.O.F. Cemetery.  Reverend Robert Shobe will officiate for the services.   Musical selections will be Precious Memories, How Great Thou Art and Take My Hand Precious Lord.

Casket bearers will be Gary Swartz, Christopher Longano II, Matthew Bleything, Christopher Longano I, Danny Hocker and Kevin Martens.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to service time at 3 p.m. at Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to the Family.  Memorials may be left at or mailed to Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1, Edina, MO 63537.
