JANICE BAKER
Janice Marie Baker, age 67, of LaBelle, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018, in Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois. Born July 14, 1950, in Kirksville, Missouri, Janice was the daughter of Lenard Franklin and Wanda Mae Medley Baker.
Janice was raised in Knox County and attended LaBelle Schools. During her marriage she lived in Adair County on a farm. She attended the Knox City Assembly of God Church. She loved spending time with family, friends and pets.
Surviving are one son, Christopher Michael Clair of Marshall, MO; two sisters, Rebecca Lynn (Russell) Davis of Kirksville, MO, and Geneva Mae Baker of Edina, MO; two brothers, Dennis Arnold Baker and Michael Leonard (Barb) Baker both of Kirksville, MO.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Kenneth Eugene Baker, and husband Ray Shores.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2018, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri, with Pastor Paul Burton officiating for the services and music provided by Paul and Marsha Burton. Burial will be in the Knox City Cemetery with Randall Baker, Wayne Rudd, Nathaniel Sizemore, Clint Foglesong, Zachary Baker and Brendan Davis serving as casket bearers and Mike Baker, Dennis Baker, Derrell Barnes and Rusty Davis as honorary bearers.
Visitation will be held from Friday, January 12, 2018, from 12 noon till time of services at 2 p.m. in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home.
