State of Missouri Endangered SILVER Advisory

Update: Subject returned home and is safe.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office has issued an Endangered SILVER Advisory for a missing adult incident that occurred at Mexico, Missouri at 1:00 am on September 24th, 2019.

The endangered SILVER advisory missing adult is:  James David Sutton is a white male, age 65, 5’5″ tall, and weighs 170 pounds.  He is bald and has hazel eyes.   It is unknown what clothing he may be wearing.

Unique characteristics:  Mr. Sutton has glasses.

Diagnosed Medical Condition(s):  Mr. Sutton has a previous traumatic brain injury and is believed to be suffering from early onset dementia

Vehicle Information:  White 2007 Toyota Corolla bearing Missouri license of GA8W8Z.  Vehicle was last seen in Mexico, MO.

Brief circumstances regarding the Endangered Silver Person incident:

James Sutton left his home in Springfield, MO on 09/23/2019 to obtain a part for his vehicle.  He was contacted by law enforcement in Mexico, MO at 1:00 am on 09/24/2019.  The police department in Mexico stated he was able to answer their questions and they provided him with directions to get back to Springfield.   He has not been seen since.

Anyone seeing the missing person, suspect, associate, or vehicle, or anyone having any information related to the endangered missing person should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Greene County Sheriff’s Office at 417-868-4040.
