Woman with Local Ties Attends Olympics in Paris
Attends Olympics in Paris – Logan (Tucker, Nelson) Davis of Colorado Springs, Colorado is the granddaughter of former Pollock resident Tommy Tucker and great niece of Joyce Miller of Milan.
This is an article she forwarded to her family from the Olympic games in Paris. She is employed by Team USA Experience (TUWE) and Logan and a co-worker volunteered for Team USA in Paris to help prep for and guide athletes through TUWE.
The experience lasted 2-4 hours for each team as they got everything they would be wearing while at the games, ordered their Olympic rings, took portraits and picked up a few extra gifts.
Over four days, they packed Nike gear, staged Polo opening and closing ceremony outfits and guided athletes through each of the stations. We worked with archery, diving, rowing, gymnastics, volleyball, breaking, and skateboarding. We met Snoop Dogg, and spent a whole afternoon with Simone Bile and quickly became fans of sports we have never watched before. We are so grateful to have been chosen to help out the athletes in the world on the biggest sports stage of all time. This was an experience I will never forget! GO TEAM USA!
