Judicial Conference Honors Late Judge Tracey Mason-White
The Judicial Conference of Missouri formally recognized the life and service of the late Judge Tracey Mason-White during its annual meeting last month, adopting a resolution honoring her dedication to justice and the people she served.
Judge Mason-White, who passed away late last year, was remembered for her integrity, compassion, and leadership both on and off the bench. She served the 9th Judicial Circuit, which includes Chariton, Linn, and Sullivan counties, as Associate Circuit Judge, as well as Adult and Juvenile Treatment Court Judge in Sullivan County.
The resolution, adopted September 18 in Jefferson City and signed by Chief Justice Brent Powell, describes Judge Mason-White as having “exemplified the highest ideals of the Bench and Bar” and having rendered “outstanding service to her community, state, and nation.”
Members of the conference — which includes all active and retired judges across Missouri — paused for a moment of silence in her memory. A copy of the resolution was ordered to be delivered to Judge Mason-White’s family.
Judge Mason-White was widely respected throughout the judicial community for her fairness, dedication to problem-solving courts, and her commitment to improving the lives of those who appeared before her. Her passing in December 2024 left a lasting void among colleagues, attorneys, and the communities she served.
