Downtown Kahoka will come alive with holiday magic Saturday, December 13, from 4 to 7 p.m. as the community gathers for “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.” Main Street will close at 2 p.m. for vendor setup, with vendors opening at 4 p.m. Santa will arrive at 4 p.m. and visit in the Santa House from 4:15 to 6 p.m., sponsored by Kahoka Trading Co. Families can enjoy the lighted parade at 5:30 p.m., followed by the much-anticipated Christmas tree lighting at 6 p.m. Amazing Grace Bible Church will provide free hot cocoa and cookies. Official event T-shirts and vendor signups are available through links on the event’s Facebook page, with Main Street Graphix handling the apparel.
