Knox County senior Cooper Clair was one of several area high school football athletes recognized at the 2025 KMEM Radio Football Awards Ceremony. The Banquet was held at Memphis, Mo on December 16, 2025.
Cooper Clair was named Hawkins Insurance, KMEM Radio Player of the Week three times during the Eagles 10-1 football season. Clark County’s Reid Sammons, Levi Stott and Dane Blessing of Scotland County, Colt Threlkeld of South Shelby, Talon McCoy of North Shelby, Mason Windy of Schuyler County and Chris Gaus of Highland were honored as Players of the Week.
Eleven Man Football Class 1 State runner up Putnam County saw Angstrom Watt, Treven Riediger and Daxton Smith honored. Putnam County Coach and Knox County native Adam Huse spoke to the assembled athletes, Coaches and broadcasters.
Knox County football coach Bruce Vannoy was among coaches addressing the group. The Eagles went through the regular season undefeated, losing to defending 8-Man Football 2024 State runner up North Shelby in the district championship game.
Cooper Clair was recently named to the 2025 Missouri Football Coaches Association All State Football Team as a second team Athlete. Senior Alious Hunolt made the second team all state 8-Man Football team as a defensive end.
Sophomore Isaac Shahan was named to the third team all state team as a defensive back.
