Winifred Rosaleen Hall, 97, of Palmyra, MO, passed away at 6:00 PM, Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Palmyra, MO.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, December 19, 2025, at the Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra, MO. Rev. Chris Combs will officiate. Burial will follow at Little Union Cemetery in Palmyra, MO.

Friends and Family are invited to Winifred’s Life Celebration at a visitation that will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra, MO.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra, MO.

Winifred was born January 12, 1928, at Messinger Hospital in Palmyra, MO, to John R. Page and Roselle McChristy Page. She married Eugene C. Hall of Hunnewell, MO on March 31, 1950, in Hunnewell, MO. He preceded her in death January 4, 2009.

Survivors include her sons, Robert (Patricia Mette) Hall and Raymond Hall both of Palmyra, MO, granddaughters, Rosie Hirner (Darin Maupin), Anne (J.D.) Harner, Rachel Metcalf, Wendy (David) Valbracht, grandsons, Lee (Denise) Hall, Matthew (Amanda) Hall, Mike (Amy) James, great grandchildren, Samantha Hirner, Shawn Hirner, Lauren Harner, Mason Harner, Piper Hall, Ethan Hall, Kooper Hall, Killian Hall, Zane Raymer, Brayden Raymer, Sophia James and Wesley James.

Winifred was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Winifred attended North River – Salem and Prairie View grade schools. She grew up in the area and graduated from Palmyra High School in 1945. Winifred was employed at Maple Lawn from 1973-1980. Winifred took great pride in being a devoted homemaker, creating a warm, welcoming home filled with love, comfort, and care for her family.

She loved to travel and treasured memories from her journeys to Mount St. Helens, Mt. McKinley in Alaska, the New York World’s Fair, Colorado, Key West, and Hawaii. A wonderful cook, Winifred was especially known for her homemade noodles, prepared with love and shared generously.

She had a joyful spirit and a sweet nature, always looking for ways to make others smile and feel at ease. Winifred enjoyed watching Bob Ross and was inspired to learn oil painting herself, finding her creativity through art. She carried vivid memories of historic moments, including Pearl Harbor Day.

Winifred had a special fondness for her Siamese cats, who brought her comfort and companionship. Music filled her home, as she enjoyed listening to Gene Autry and tuning in to the Grand Ole Opry. Above all, Winifred will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and the genuine care she showed to everyone around her.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Winifred was a long time member of the Little Union Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Lee Hall, Matthew Hall, Ethan Hall, Darin Maupin, Mason Harner and J.D. Harner.

Honorary pallbearers will be all of her other great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Little Union Cemetery Fund.
