Fabius 4-H Club March Meeting

The Fabius 4-H Club met on Saturday, March 14th at Main Street Lanes at 2 pm for their monthly meeting. Due to the absence of President Triplett and Vice President Bowman, the meeting was led by Secretary Bently Carper. Pledges were led by Lane Carper and Bently Carper. The secretary’s report was given by Bently Carper and the treasurer’s report was given by Mason Lillard.
It was noted that the 4-H Winter Roundup was a success. Emily Bowman and Zander Krietemeyer were recognized for project reports. Emily Bowman was also recognized for being a member on the National Shooting Sports Team.
The office is asking for all animal ids (breeding & market animals) for Cattle, Swine, goats and sheep to be entered into the Fair Entry website before May 10th.
The 4-H Council is organizing a building exhibit sale this year. Each building exhibitor will be allowed to sell one item this year. This will be in addition to the two items allowed in the auction.
The Fabius Community House Hog Roast will be held on Saturday, April 25th. Each family is asked to donate 2 desserts. Members are needed to work one of two available shifts. Watch for a sign up soon.
Demonstrations were given by Brinleigh Carper, Maple Griesbaum, Rowan Griesbaum, and Brielle Strubinger.
The next meeting will be Tuesday, April 7th at 6pm at the Fabius Community House.
Bowling was enjoyed by all.
