Clark County Student Malaki Phillips Receives NEMR Scholarship

Kahoka, MO — NEMR is pleased to announce Malaki Phillips of Clark County High School as a recipient of the 2026 NEMR Scholarship. Malaki was awarded a $500 scholarship in recognition of his achievements, commitment, and continued success as he prepares for the next step in his education.

Each year, NEMR awards eight $500 scholarships—one to a graduating senior at each high school within its service area. The program reflects NEMR’s ongoing dedication to investing in local students and strengthening the communities it serves.

NEMR representative Gracey Gordon attended the Clark County Senior Awards on May 11th to present the scholarship and help recognize Malaki for this accomplishment.

“Supporting our students as they reach this important milestone is something we deeply value at NEMR,” said General Manager Michele Gillespie. “They represent the future of our communities, and it is an honor to encourage them as they take their next steps.”

NEMR is proud to continue its commitment to local education through programs like its annual scholarship initiative, helping students across northeast Missouri pursue their goals after graduation.

Congratulations to Malaki Phillips and the entire Class of 2026!
